MRI Students Gain Clinical Insight

On October 1, 16 students from AIMS Education’s Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) program visited Hackensack Meridian Jersey Shore University Medical Center for an educational clinical site visit. The visit was facilitated by MRI Supervisor Mark Sweedo, who introduced students to hospital staff and provided an overview of the imaging technologies available at the clinical site.

Students explored the hospital’s MRI, CT, DEXA, mammography, and ultrasound modalities while gaining insight into clinical workflows and professional expectations. Lead MRI Technologist Anthony DePinto also shared his expertise with the group, discussing essential MRI safety protocols and providing students with valuable perspective on working in a clinical environment.
