BIO 100 (Human Biology) has been removed from the Cardiovascular Technology and Diagnostic Medical Sonography programs. Although previously planned as a replacement for PHY 101 beginning in Winter 2026, BIO 100 has never been offered at AIMS Education.
Removal of General Physics Prerequisite for DMS Program
August 8, 2025
The previously planned addition of General Physics as a prerequisite for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program will not be implemented. This change is due to the reinstatement of PHY 101 (Introduction to Physics) in the program, which eliminates the need for a separate General Physics prerequisite.
Registry Exam Policy Update for DCS Program
August 8, 2025
An exception has been added to the registry exam policy for the Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography program. If a student is unable to take the certification exam within 45 days of program completion due to a delay in application processing by the credentialing agency, AIMS Education will grant an appropriate extension to ensure the student remains eligible for reimbursement.

New Hazing Prevention Policy

A new Hazing Prevention Policy has been added to the College Catalog. The policy prohibits hazing in all forms, outlines reporting procedures, and ensures compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act, including the Stop Campus Hazing Act amendment.

AIMS Education has partnered with Parchment to process all official transcript requests. Current students and college alumni can now order official transcripts securely online through Parchment 24/7.
Library Policy Updates

Library rules and policies have been updated. Graduates are now required to pay a $100 refundable deposit when borrowing library materials, and the maximum borrowing period for all students has been extended to ten days.
Registry Exam Reimbursement Eligibility Update

Students found to have cheated on a registry exam will forfeit reimbursement eligibility for that attempt and all future attempts.
