The College Catalog at AIMS Education serves as a valuable resource for all of our students. It provides important information related to institutional policies and procedures, and it also serves as a Student Handbook. The AIMS catalog, which is published annually, will be posted on this page.

AIMS Education reserves the right to modify any program, policy, or procedure listed in the catalog. Any updates will be provided in the form of an addendum which will be available below.

The prerequisite requirements for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program have been updated to clarify that, although ACE-recommended credit may be accepted in general, Advanced Placement (AP) examinations are not accepted to satisfy prerequisite coursework.

The Leave of Absence (LOA) policy has been revised to clarify the determination of the LOA start date. The policy now specifies that the LOA start date is the day after the student’s last date of attendance (LDA), or the first day of the next semester if the LDA occurred at the end of the previous semester.

No Show Policy Revised

The No Show Policy has been revised to clarify attendance requirements for both non-term and term-based programs. The policy now specifies that students who fail to attend during the first five days of class in non-term programs, or during the first five days of the semester in term-based programs, will be administratively dropped from the course(s) as a No Show.

Anesthesia Technician Certificate Program Discontinued

The Anesthesia Technician certificate program has been discontinued and will no longer enroll new students. Students currently enrolled in the program will be provided the opportunity to complete the program in accordance with the institution’s teach-out procedures.

Associate of Applied Science in Anesthesia Technology Added

A new Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Anesthesia Technology program has been added to the College Catalog. The program replaces the previous certificate pathway and is designed to provide students with the academic, laboratory, and clinical training required for entry-level employment in the field of anesthesia technology.

Pediatric Echocardiography CE Course Admissions Requirements Revised

The admissions requirements for the Pediatric Echocardiography Continuing Education (CE) course have been revised to remove the R.T.(S)(ARRT) credential as an acceptable admissions eligibility option.

Clinical Site Conduct Policy Revised
May 14, 2026

The Clinical Internship Conduct Policy has been revised to clarify the institution’s authority regarding continued clinical placement eligibility. The policy now specifies that students removed or dismissed from a clinical site for disciplinary, professionalism, patient safety, ethical, or conduct-related violations may be deemed ineligible for continued clinical placement and may be dismissed from the program following institutional review.

Disciplinary Procedures Terminology Revised

The Disciplinary Procedures policy has been revised to replace the term “Stage” with “Level” when identifying the progression of disciplinary actions. The updated terminology clarifies the disciplinary process and standardizes the naming convention used throughout the policy.

Online High School Diploma Recognition Policy Revised

The admissions policy has been revised to clarify the recognition criteria for online high school diplomas, including acceptance of diplomas from public school district/state-operated schools or schools accredited/recognized by approved K–12 accrediting bodies.
