AIMS Education is proud to announce that our school is now institutionally accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). ABHES is an institutional and programmatic accrediting body that is recognized by the United States Secretary of Education. They primarily accredit schools and programs that are focused on allied health education.
This is the second institutional accreditation for AIMS. The Commission on Secondary Schools of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA-CESS) recently awarded AIMS with accreditation for a period of 10 years.
In addition to institutional accreditation, the Surgical Technologist program at AIMS is now ABHES Accredited as well. Click here to learn more about the benefits of Surgical Tech accreditation.
ABHES is recognized by the United States Secretary of Education for the accreditation of private, postsecondary institutions in the United States offering predominantly allied health education programs and the programmatic accreditation of medical assistant, medical laboratory technician and surgical technology programs leading to a certificate, diploma, Associate of Applied Science, Associate of Occupational Science, Academic Associate degree, Baccalaureate degree, or Master's degree, including those offered via distance education.
ABHES is an independent non-profit agency unrelated to any trade or membership organization. To learn more about ABHES, please visit www.abhes.org.
