Jimena Corrales

Background and Experience at AIMS

Jimena Corrales’ passion for healthcare was inspired by her own personal health experiences, particularly her early exposure to ultrasound. Those encounters gave her a deep appreciation for the medical professionals who guided her and fueled her desire to pursue a career where she could provide the same level of care and support to others. With this motivation, Jimena enrolled in the Medical Assistant program at AIMS Education and graduated in May 2025. Throughout her time at AIMS, she not only gained technical and clinical skills but also developed a deeper understanding of patient care, communication, and the importance of compassion in medicine. Her instructors and hands-on training provided the foundation she needed to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment while also giving her the confidence to set ambitious goals for a future in diagnostic medical sonography.

Success after Graduation

Following her graduation, Jimena began working as a Medical Assistant at Reproductive Medicine Associates (RMA), where she applies her training daily to support patients with professionalism, empathy, and dedication. She quickly adapted to the demands of a dynamic, patient-focused setting, demonstrating the skills and confidence she built at AIMS. In addition to her career, Jimena also dedicates her time to serving her community through her town’s first aid squad, responding to emergency calls and assisting with hospital transfers. This volunteer work continues to strengthen her passion for healthcare while allowing her to make a direct impact beyond her workplace. Looking ahead, Jimena plans to advance her education in sonography, with a particular interest in women’s health and fertility care, areas that hold deep personal meaning for her and align with her long-term goals.
