Payment Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions for Credit/Debit Card Payment
This site enables you, the student, and your parent, legal guardian, or other third party to pay tuition, and other school related charges only. To use the service, you must have authority to make charges to the credit or debit card you are using.
By submitting a payment using a credit or debit card, you are certifying that you are an authorized user of the credit/debit card, and that any payments made to AIMS will not be disputed with your bank or credit card company. If a secondary credit/debit card is used other than your own, AIMS has the right to contact the cardholder and ask for verification. You, the student, will be responsible for all chargebacks.
Transaction Fees for all Credit/Debit Card Payments
All credit and debit card payments are subject to a 3% merchant service fee. The 3% fee will automatically be added to your total payment when using a credit or debit card to submit a payment online.
Terms and Conditions for ACH Payment (EFT)
By choosing to use a bank account (checking/savings) as your payment method, you will not incur any additional service fees. Any valid automated clearing house ("ACH") enabled bank account at a United States-based financial institution can be used. Whenever you choose to pay by ACH, you are authorizing Transaction Express to debit your bank account for the total amount of the tuition due. Your transaction must be payable in U.S. dollars.
Please note the following when making an ACH payment:
- You will be charged a $25 penalty fee for any returned payments (e.g. Non-sufficient funds (NST), invalid account number, invalid routing number, etc.).
- AIMS reserves the right to cancel your ability to make payments using a bank account for any reason at any time.
- Transactions that are processed using your bank account will be identified as ACH (or similar identifier) on the statement issued by your bank or other financial institution holding your account.
- A receipt will be generated to the email account that you provide. All questions relating to any transactions made using your bank account should initially be directed to AIMS, but may also require involvement of your bank.
We reserve the right to amend this Agreement at any time, by adding, deleting, or changing provisions of this Agreement. You may contact the AIMS Education Financial Aid Department at 908-222-0002 for further information.
