We are proud to announce that the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program (General Concentration) at AIMS Education was recently awarded continuing accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). CAAHEP is the largest programmatic accreditor in the health sciences field.

In order to qualify for continuing accreditation, the DMS program had to undergo an extensive review and meet rigorous standards set by CAAHEP. Achieving programmatic accreditation demonstrates that our institution maintains the highest standards and quality of education. The next comprehensive program evaluation will take place in 2021.

The Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography program at AIMS is also programmatically accredited by CAAHEP.

The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) is a programmatic postsecondary accrediting agency recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and carries out its accrediting activities in cooperation with 23 review committees (Committees on Accreditation). CAAHEP currently accredits over 2100 entry level education programs in 28 health science professions. (source:
